Online tutorial: an introduction to trauma-informed modern slavery response

HerSpace’s self-paced online tutorial provides an introduction to trauma-informed approaches to modern slavery response.

The training introduces key concepts in modern slavery, trauma and trauma-informed care, with practical tools informed by lived experience. It is designed to support safe, survivor-centred responses across a range of roles and settings, including frontline services, organisations and community contexts.

The tutorial is intended as foundational learning. It is not clinical or therapeutic training and does not replace organisational policies, reporting requirements or specialist services. Instead, it supports understanding and confidence in applying trauma-informed principles in everyday practice.
